MCAT 2017

Jack's FAQ on MCAT 2017

This is a guide on the MCAT 2017 exam season. In 2015, the AAMC significantly changed format and the content that the MCAT examines. The change wasn’t really drastic. What is less known: real updates happen every single year. The updates to MCAT 2017 exam will be based on data from previous years.

The MCAT has become a more passage-based exam. This trend is expected to continue into the MCAT 2017. Doctors need to think on their feet, reason, and analyze material that may seem novel and difficult.  They need to think and reason through material they may not be familiar with. This is why passages are so important.
